NItrous at drag strip

How is nitrous activation controlled when launching at the drag strip
say for example a a window switch is set for 4500rpm-7800rpm but a msd 2 step is set a 5500rpm will nitrous be activated while clutch is in ? is there a way to control the gear it is activated ?

Window switch is definately a good idea. You can wire the relays so while 2-step is activated, nitrous can't be. Then when you release 2-step button nitrous is activated. Although traction launching will be brutal spraying instantly. If I were inclined to use nitrous again(snowballs chance in hell) I'd look into putting a progressive controller on it.
