So I was retorquing my spacers and I had my torque wrench slip and I hit one of the spokes with the end of the wrench. See below

I tried coloring it in with a sharpie but it's not staying black. I'm so OCD this will bug the shit out of me

What could I do?

Seeing that they are gloss black I would get a gloss black touch up pen from your local auto parts store. I knicked one of the wheels on my truck and it touched up fine.

Trade the car in for a gt350 ;)

That oughta make you feel better :D

No one should have to live with a nicked wheel.
This was enough to almost consider it. I'm so OCD about that shit, I'm going to see it every time I approach my car now

Tape off around the wound as close as possible. Sand the chipped part to clean it. Fill the hole with some body filler like nitro stan. Sand that smooth and get the Ford touch up paint and clear coat

Gonna try this beast. Had a clear coat at the end of it. How long should I want before I try applying it or should I not bother?

The paint dries quick. It should tell you on the box. If not, wait 15 minutes.
Can you tell if the oem finish is paint or powder coat?

I didn't do the clear coat on mine since the black alone matched pretty well. The clear will change the look a little so just go off of how well it blends with the wheel color.

Hard to tell under light. I'll have to see how it looks like in the morning.
