Thats a deep gouge in the wheel, you can use a filler then use the touchup. It would help with the level of the gouge, I know it would drive me nuts personally.

Dude it looks too deep for a scratch touch up paint. That would drive me nuts.

yeah, i'm pretty upset about it... going to wait until daylight to see how noticeable it is. I may end up getting a new wheel if it bugs me too much

You could do that, but before paying for a new wheel, try that wheel filler and then tough it up, its something alot of repair shops do.

Epoxy

I'd try some epoxy to fill it in and then smooth it out with emory and polish and paint it. It looks deep enough for a fill.

Aww man. Dude that sucks. I've used nail polish before to cover up nick in my exs car before. Nail polish is thick enough to where it fills the spot up nice. Try dabbing some nail polish.
