Ford au's mustang ordering system is a total disaster .same date order you could get different ETA up to 2 months gap , It's all about luck not when you placed your order

Well if I win the 2.1b lotto, im going to close down flatrock and open it up the next day to pump out only right hand drives for 1 week. While thats happening, ill hire my own car carrier ship, and rename it 'Stangship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' which will be waiting at baltimore ready to have cars loaded straight on and have all AUS ordered mustangs here by March. Ill even phone ahead to panama canal to keep it clear so there are no delays.

Just noticed you and I ordered the same day G RUSH, Just last week the dealer showed me his computer screen showing me 1st week of Feb for build and April 16th hitting our shores but he did say to not take too much notice of the arrival date as it can and most likely will change....... to which I almost throttled him

Well I ordered on the 5th of March also and was told "looks like" a January build by Ford AU mid last month. Yesterday Ford AU said no update to this statement they made last month, no VIN etc so I assume it will not actually be built this month. I am getting so over it, its not funny anymore...:frusty::frusty:

Well I ordered mine in Dec 2014 but my deposit was only cleared in Jan 2015.
My build date is in Jan 2016 so chances are your build date is not going to be Jan 2015.
But then again its Ford, you might get the car before me!!!

IngoStang was that the "welcome to your Mustang" email you got last month as I got that on 1st September and then nothing. My dealer doesnt know squat and been messaging Ford Aus monthly to get what I know to today - which really still is nothing other than I have a Convertible coming sometime in my lifetime...

No mate I received the Welcome to your Mustang one in Sept too. below is what I received from my dealer back in December

Early December I emailed my dealer and FordAU fb who had no info other than a date of 31.03.16. Ford AU Facebook said to check back in February.

I couldn't wait and I asked for any updates on Monday anddddd I got my VIN so happy now! They said it will be a late January build but I have no window sticker yet so I'm hoping I'll be able to see it next week.

Btw, I ordered early March and received my "meet your new Ford Mustang" email 1 September.

It's good to hear of all these windowstickers. Looks like the next batch is getting lined up which is nice.

Don't forget to keep checking ETIS every few days now, to see when it was actually built, it will update a few days after the actual build date.

I'd love mine to be built on Australia day!

I got my VIN about a month before my build date.
I guess you just have to keep checking with Ford.
