I like the red too.

IMO carbon fibre wheels looks horrible on any car. I know the weight saving is a good thing but for looks they just don't do it for me.

Recon the 315 will be ok the 305 are 100%

Don't think you can get 305 MPSS's in the UK for some unknown reason.

It's my predicament also that I want 305 MPSS rears on 6GR, so would have to get them from the US at the same time as the wheels... and frightened as to how much that's gonna cost in shipping! Also gonna be a pain in the arse if replacements ever needed so may have to go with 295's, but that's gonna flare out the side walls a little more which while suiting the VW/Audi/BMW and Jap crap ricer crowd, doesn't IMO suit the Mustang so well.

My eyesight's fine!... I'm very well aware that 295's will fit fine on an 11" rim, but I just prefer less 'stretch' and a little more 'bulge'.

The measurements given by wheel manufacturers refer to the bead diameter and width and not the overall diameter and width, which is normally around 1' greater - so a 19 x 11 rim will generally have an overall diameter of approx. 20" and width of 12" and the sidewalls of a 295 tyre will generally be flat but, depending on the manufacturer/tread pattern/profile (for example it's been pointed out in various posts on this forum that the MPSS tread width appears to be wider than the P-Zero tread width on the same size tyres), sometimes exhibit a degree of 'stretch' from the tread to the outer edge of the wheel rim (face).

Audi, for example, use a standard of fitting a lot of their premium 20 x 10 and 21 x 10 rim packages with 295's to aid ride comfort and offer a degree of protection to the outer rim face through a very slight 'bulge' in the sidewall (rim protection beads on tyres generally doing bugger all to protect low profile tyres)... and this is what I wish to achieve as, firstly, I intend to lower the car and, secondly, I am very conscious of how much it may cost to replace any rims that get damaged (the replacement rims on one of my previous vehicles were £1185 each + tax, and tyres £380 each + tax... so I've been there before, got the t-shirt etc).
