Hi all:

I just got Stainless Power 1 7/8” long tubes installed with a 3” MBRP catback exhaust. I ran the car on the stock tune back home without incident. At home, I installed a 91 octane tune from a well-known and respected tuner. The tune uploaded without a hitch, but I got the following codes:

P08A9 - clutch pedal position sensor A circuit low
P08B6 - clutch position sensor B circuit low
P26C4 - internal control module clutch pedal performance.

I depress the clutch and the car won’t start. I know the clutch position sensor is good, because when I restore the stock tune, everything’s fine. I also tried the 93 octane tune - I get the same problem.

The tuner is checking things out, but I wanted to know if anyone else has encountered this problem.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Never. Did you get the 'no lift shift' with your tune BS ?

Then your tuner touched on something he had no business with. I assumed you checked all the connections on the clutch pedal ?

Yup. Like I said, the stock tune has no problem (although I get CELs eventually, since the rear O2s are moved because of the long tubes).

Did you try doing a crank relearn with the device? If you did and still have the same issue reach out to your tuner.

Wouldn't that only help if I was running the new tune? If so, it's a catch 22.

An update for anyone that's interested. The tuner, Palm Beach Dyno, worked out the kinks. My ride starts up and runs great, now. I just have to wait for the O2 sensor spacers to arrive to get rid of the P0430 and P0420 codes that pop up after a while.
