I have a '15 Performance Pack GT with full BMR suspension mods and DSS halfshafts, otherwise the car is stock. Nothing serious just out to have a little fun at the drag strip from time to time.

I just picked up an extra set of wheels and Nitto NT05R drag radials. My first set of Drag Radials. Any suggestions on tire pressures or anything else?

Thanks

I haven't had drag radials on a S550.. but on my Termi, I air them down to like 16 cold so that they get to like 17 18 after the burnout, which the nittos need a good burnout..

On the NT05R, start at 18psi. Watch for the grooves and stay in them. On a manual car, its going to shock the tires hard on the launch. Learn to work the track and find the RPM they grab at.

A good 7-10 second burnout. You need to just start seeing smoke.
