Hey guys

It's that time again for a us ever-hopefuls waiting for the next boat to give each other hope:)

My car was built on 11th April and has been at the port since 21st April

With an ETD of 19th May (latest estimate from the shipping company) that will be 28 days since my car hit the port.

Sure hope that this is enough time to make this little tug.........

Been at port since 14th April. Have locked myself in for this ship. Will be fairly annoyed (understatement) if I'm not on this one! Here's hoping....

According to last correspondence from Deysha I was due to arrive at Baltimore 17 May. DO I take it from some of the comments above that I am not automatically going to be on the next ship that leaves after that date (the Talisman on the 19th)?

There is nothing automatic about it...... But it takes 4 weeks for your car to go through the prep and booking process. (4 weeks after its arrival at the docks.) If you allow the 4 weeks before expecting to be on a boat you will have a more reasonable departure estimate.

If you don't allow the 4 weeks you only set yourself up for disappointment, when your car is not booked on the earlier boats.

So realistically .... no you wont be on this boat, or probably the next one. You will need to check the departure schedule posted by @Davo in the 'Mustang migration to OZ' thread. To get a better idea of which boats depart Baltimore in around 4 weeks time.

Most up to date post so far in the migration thread mentioned above.

(If you car arrives at the docks on 17 MAY....... I'd be looking at the 'Tamesis' departing Baltimore on 18 JUNE)

Thanks for the heads up lads... Tamesis would then be in town around 18 July which would be somewhat at odds with the advised estimated delivery time. Hard to believe isn't it!!! Fedora would seem more likely. Anyway no delay comes as a surprise anymore.

My car was built on 18th April and apparently in Baltimore now.

Would I have a chance for this boat or do they stay at the docks for awhile?

Update from Ford Service overnight is that I am at the port already... Fedora a good chance then I suspect.
