Hello everyone, I picked up a 2016 Challenger Scatpack today. I had to travel a few miles to pick it up and just arrived home with it. I was able to take a few pictures but they are kind of dark. So you can see the difference between it and the Mustang. Plan to provide some feedback on the pros and cons compared to the Mustang. Looking forward to having some fun with both cars.

very very very awesome. I really love the new Scat Packs. I just have this weird obsession with having convertibles, so thus no Chally for me. If they madea convertible, I would absolutely be a customer.

Thanks everyone. Even though we sometimes compare the two cars, I think they are in two different classes. The CHallenger is bigger and heavier but don't let they fool you. The Mustang feels small and nimble when you drive them back to back. As I get more drive time I will add a little more feedback. I'm usually not a automatic fan in this type of car but went with the 8 speed automatic in the Challenger and so far I'm very impressed.

Every time I see a new Challenger I think I like it. I need to go drive one. I am not sure I can live with a car that big. But I am not a hater. I think they look good.

I have actually considered trading my Stang in on one of these just, mostly because I hoped for more rear legroom for passengers. Went to the dealer and sat in one though, and with the driver seat as far back as I like it, there wasn't much more legroom than the Mustang. A lot more width though! OP, have any rear passengers yet?

No rear passengers yet. As you stated the biggest advantage is width and headroom. Another is trunk space. So for an extended trip I think the Challenger would be more comfortable and allow you to bring home a little extra goodies.

You can feel the extra weight in the CHallenger compared to the Mustang, but that extra HP and Torque paired with the 8 speed automatic is pretty sweet.

That is true. I went shopped at five dealers before I found this one. The first four are local and they wouldn't negotiate at all. I found this car on EBay. The dealer was Steve White Motors out of Newton N.C. They were willing to negotiate and even payed for my hotel room and gas to pick up the car. Once I arrived at the dealer everything was ready for me all I had to do was sign the papers and pick it up.

The wife was looking at the green ones. Same problem. No wiggle room on the price or the trade in.
