With regards to the Magnetic, it is quite a dull colour and with this one and silver wheels, it kind of looks like a bloated Mondeo! However it gives the impression of staying clean for longer. Black wheels and window trim with a black stripe does look good though.
I'm going to get a stripe...
As some of you know, I have waited for a replacement Mustang since Xmas. Well I've got it! Had a look at it last Friday before the p.d.i. and asked the dealer to realign the boot lid and keep the window sticker and car cover. Collected it yesterday and it was perfect! Race Red with a black...
Manders car.........arrived..........thank heavens for that! Mine was on the same boat to Southampton, same marshalling site, but not due up here in Norfolk until middle next week. Then I suppose dealer will faff about with it for a few days so I might get it next weekend or early the following...
I was thinking black stripe. The one which is a single stripe with a thin pinstripe either side. Not sure about it now. I'll go without for a few days and then have a rethink! Busseys of Norwich had their Mustang striped by a local vinyl graphics company and it is a really top job.
Well, as some of you know, I've had a courtesy Mustang for a few months now, following an under bonnet fire back in December. Well, my replacement Mustang is in Southampton, having been shipped over on the same boat as Manders' car! I think he said he gets his this Friday/ Saturday. How the hell...
I own an M135 as well as a Mustang and have run 13.0 at 109mph at Santa Pod. I reckon the auto Bimmer would be ahead......just.......at all speed ranges. However, against an auto Mustang using the paddles, I think it would be fairly even. The Bimmer would leave the Mustang for dead cross country...
Yep, thanks for the invite. Enjoyed the track session and would definitely attend the Ford Heritage gig. I asked as to your whereabouts on Wednesday, to thank you in person for the press car you arranged for me to use while my replacement Mustang is built, but you weren't available. Anyway...
Not my tyres either but having watched at this sort of event before, tyre shredding/drifting/showboating etc. will get you sent off the track. I've spent years drag racing and done various track days and I don't drive at 10/10ths on track, probably 8.5, if that makes sense.
Well good news for me as well. I'm on the Tujika vessel and showing as loaded! Build day was Feb 10th so they have got a move on as I have one of their press cars as a courtesy car to use until I get my new one! Race Red with black roof, auto.
