Hey Everybody,

Just introducing myself and my new car.

2016 GT350 CDN Base model - Stripe delete oxford with black roof.

One of 30 base in the country and only 425? total Gt350's. 1 of 1 color scheme.

I must say I love this car so far, it just suits my personality so well. Coming from a 2014 Nissan GT-R, this is the car that truly makes me smile.

165kms put on in a day of driving! :headbang:

Welcome! Compared to the sterile experience of a GTR, the 350 is almost the complete opposite. Enjoy!

Awesome. Does the USDM base model come with the driving select modes?

No surprises equipment wise with my car, came with engine oil cooler but not the others (not that I expected it).

It is the opposite, however I must defend the GTR. Even though it wasn't as emotional as the Mustang, it was without a doubt a supercar. It was a chassis designed to hit way above its weight and the way it put power down was insanity. Barely any vehicles can slingshot out of apexs' like it.

Alas it just wasn't the car for me. It's much much faster than the Mustang, especially because I'm 3700ft elevation.

The civic beside the mustang is what really made me want the Mustang. Isn't that strange? I owned it since new and just recently sold it to my brother. We did full bolt ons, tuned and roughly 220whp @8700 rpm. Small little 2L NA. I love revs.

Darkane, I too had a 2014 GT-R. Currently hunting for a GT350R. I always laugh when people who never driven/owned a GT-R and call it sterile, a video game, drives itself, etc etc. It's an amazing vehichle, and punches way above it's class. Def too fast for how "little" hp it has and how heavy it is, freak of nature. Enjoy that 350!

I've had the privilege of driving an F430 and a GT-R on a track back to back (7 laps each). The GT-R felt like a lumbering pig the whole time while the Ferrari felt like an extension of my brain.

And yet the GT-R was considerably faster in my hands. They're amazing cars. If you wanna visceral experience there are better options (like a GT350R!).

@Spacebird, see, at least you have a point of reference instead of just magazine reviews and no personal experience.

Was this at exotics racing? It so isn't the 430 the scuderia? Yeah of course that'll make the GTR feel like a pig.

I also raced there and the 458 I drove was lithe, fast and sounded brilliant. My GTR was literally built to have ANYONE get in and do these:

0-60 in under 3
1G on the skid pad
300kph
30mpg highway (cdn)
100-0 braking under 100ft

Not many other cars are.. If any.

All while retaining a 5 year 100,000km power train warranty. Like I said one hell of a car, it was very livable with a huge trunk to boot.
