Paul - Thank you for those sites. They have a lot of good info.
I'm bummed i wasn't able to make it out last Sunday. I'll be looking at those sites for the next event to get more info. Like Heavy, I'm probably going to signup for classes and just the practice days.
Thanks guys.
Thanks Heavy for the post. I'm looking to start tracking or autocrossing myself. I think I'll start with auto cross cuz just like you said it seems easier to get into, it's closer and a bit cheaper. I've heard auto cross eats up your tires more though...but that's why I have an extra pair :)...
I want these so bad, but I keep thinking back in my old days of driving a super low ricer and that was hell. I don't really want to relive that. Honestly, how much lower is it in the front spliter? Depending on what that is I may have to do this LOL :)
My GT350 was rear-ended about a month ago and it was repaired by West Coast Specialties down in the Miramar area. I can't recommend them enough. Tell Jimmy I (Carlo) sent you. They do all sorts of exotics. You'll see what I mean when you go there. Another good body shop I've taken my other...
If you could hook it up that would be much appreciated. Yeah we aren't too far away. I'd love to check your guys cars too :) Let me know.
Thanks for the help.
Stock wheels/rims will take 305 up front and 325 in the rear?
This is pretty ghetto but I was thinking for a time until i need new front tires to just keep the original 285/35 on the front and put on the 305/30 in the back. When I need new fronts switch everything to 30's.
On that same...
That's what I thought, but in another post about Hankook tires some members were saying it was okay to have 30 size aspect ratio. The thickness of the sidewall being 30 wasn't too big of a deal.
Anyone have any experience with this tire? A good price on Tirerack.

I'm in need of a set of new rear tiers on stock rims. Not for the track but...
You can head east of San Diego using the 8 freeway and head north on the 74 freeway to Julian. Julian is an awesome little town with great apple pie. The drive is a plus.
You can also head east on the 94 on the way to Campo. Good dive up hills. Nice county out there.
Let me know if you...
That is one heck of a price. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to tires so please forgive me. Our stock MPSS are 305/35 in the back. If this is only 305/30 does that mean they are thinner (sidewall is thinner), and if so would it cause the rear end of the car to look lower?
I've been...
Thanks for the feedback. Let me try WD40 first since I have that laying around. If that doesn't give me the shine I'll hoping for i might give never dull a try.
Again thanks.
