I have a 2006 ford mustang. That has cams and headers on it. No catalytic converters, and his piped. Just so everyone knows, I am a female. It’s a manual transmission. I just replace the alternator and got a new battery. Didn’t drive it for long. When I noticed a banging, clanking kinda sound, and it’s only when I am at a stop, and after it heats up. Had a mechanic look at it and he isn’t completely positive but he thinks it’s a rocker arm replacement. I am not sure what else he is not communicating with me well. Been without a car now for three weeks. Does anyone know what this problem can be? I don’t have the money to fix a problem that’s not the problem. If I fix one rocker arm do they all need to be fixed? What else needs to be fixed with it? I don’t know if my car is misfiring. I don’t get check engine lights because it’s been way modified.i don’t think there are certain censors on my car anymore. I can’t even get her smogged normally. Has anyone had any of these problems with there mustang?
