Hello guys I currently own 17 mustang GT and trying to see if I can get some help with what I need. I recently ordered 20x9 30 offset with 255 tires on front
And 20x 10.5 45 offset with 285 rear. Im sure these will fit my car, but I have some question about wheel spacers and lowering springs. I am thinking of getting 1in spacers front and 1.5 at rear with dropping about 1-1.5. Will these fit in with current stats I have on wheels and tires? Also I am thinking of getting either 285 or 305 rear tires in the future. Will this set up also be fine?
Thank you all in advance!

No spacers for this application and for the drop just adjust the camber to -2.2 and yes you can run a 305 on the rear.

The fitment is just there with the set up you have. You could even fit those larger tires without rubbing and lower as well.

Maybe a 5mm spacer out back if you want to push out just a little more.

Thank you all for the reply. I was trying to add spacers to make wheels stick out more and lower the car to have a better stance. Would you guys not recommend any of these?
I am really new to modifying cars and need a lot of things to learn.
Thank you!

If those tires get close to the fender it will rub like crazy. I had some 20x10s with a 45 offset and 20mm spacers. It was right at the fender and was fine. Upgraded to some RTRs 19x9.5 et 33 and thought the 20mm spacers would be fine. It rubbed and scraped on every bump and turn. Had to take them off. I'm thinking of picking up some 15mm or 10mm with the extended studs.

Did you lower your car by any chance? I will be dropping my car all round with 1 inch and just add 1in spacer on my rear. Will this be fine to drive?

You can certainly put spacers on the car but maybe 3-8 mm max with the set up you are providing.

What you are proposing is a 25mm spacer up front which means a 20x9 with a 5mm offset and a 38mm spacer out back which will create the effect of a 20x10.5 with a 7mm offset.

It will most likely sit like an 80's mini truck unless you add fender flares

As I advise dont do spacers the specs are fine, if you want to max it out more then just add a 5 mm on the standard studs and your fine.

Steeda progressives on stock shocks and struts. I just bough Koni orange and Steeda shock mounts and I'll see if that firms up the rears more. It looks awesome with the spacers but I have some poke and it drives like sh*t with them on.
