Mine bolted right up with no issues. Out of curiosity, did you do the Steeda subframe alignment kit? I had that on mine already. I wonder if that made it easier?

Same issue with mine also, passenger side was a pain. Took time and more effort but it's on now! At least you know it's somewhat aligned.

Alignment kit makes it even harder.

Middle bolt goes in first, follow by front 2 15mm and the rear Allen bolts. Put a screwdriver in the holes to line them..

I have done this like 10 times now.

I just wish steeda would redesign the damn thing.

For anyone that might do this in the future, the front bolt holes never lined up perfectly for me. Even with no other bolts put in. That is most likely due to one of the holes on the car being slightly incorrectly angled or something. I had to angle the brace weirdly to get the bolts started and then tighten them to pull the brace into alignment.

Had the same problem when I installed mine. Driver's side was perfect and took like 5 minutes and passenger side was a nightmare. My problem was that the brace obscures the front subframe bolt once installed, making getting a socket onto that bolt nigh impossible, since you do have to loosen that bolt in order to align all the bolt holes on the brace, as well as remove the front bracket/plate thingy.

Oh goodie. I just did the stop-the-hop kit minus the brace. By far the toughest part of any of the installation was the top rear bushing support. Thought for sure it was absolutely impossible but eventually got it. Good to know I might have to fight with this to...

I ended up removing and reinstalling mine when I had the car up on a lift for the differential bushing install. It's a lot easier that way if you have access to one.

^^^This. Mine does the same thing. Exploded sounds a little dramatic but it does make some popping noise but that is with all suspensions.
Im noticing a really audible popping noise from the right rear now... was thinking possibly blown strut or somethin loose possibly... but then came across this thread not really sure whats going on now

The braces are hard mounting the irs cradle to the frame. There is going to be more road noise transmitted into the cabin. Personally the subframe bushing insert kit is what made the difference for me with the wheel hop. I took the braces back off and can't tell any difference from when they were on.

Subframe bushing inserts helped my wheel hop quite a bit, but there was definitely additional improvement when I put the braces on mine. My noise increase only came after installing the differential bushing inserts, and I went with the softer red ones. I would think the black ones would be even worse.

I'm having my sub frame braces installed next week, I have the rest of the "stop the hop" kit already installed, Progressive Sport Springs, and the front and rear sway bars also installed. Any tricks I can pass on to my installers to make their job easier? I know they had a hell of a time with the front sway bar and removing the stock bushings. I was hoping that the IRS alignment kit already being installed would make it easier to install the braces but after reading this thread I fear that's not the case.
