Hey guys,

I have a 16' on order and am planning on having the wheels already at the dealer to take off the stock ones. Please excuse my ignorance, I am not too familiar on what proper wheels/tires to get for correct fitting.

Mine is coming in with the Interior Wheel package so 19 x 8.5 and IF I am correct, 255/40ZR19 96W P Zero Nero all-season tires.

I am still deciding if I want to get black 19s and keep the PZero tires for now or get 20" wheels. Is there any difference in regard to ride quality by getting 20s?

Also, would I need to look for only 19x8.5s or would 19x9.5 also fit the stock tires?

Adjust to the wheel and tire package you ordered your GT with and then do some research if you still feel you must spend more money to purchase Aftermarket wheels and tires would be the only Good advice I could possibly give you young man !

What is the hurrry ?

Personally I'm sticking with 19's, for performance and price reasons. I am looking at the MMR gf9

A good bang for the buck is to rock a 19" setup and run those factory PZero tires for now, you can always upgrade tires after. This way you dont spend alot upfront to change to way the car looks.

a 19x9.5 will work on the 255 tires you have and I would recommend the GF9 wheels their amazing and deep concave.

Thanks for the replies fellas.

Brian V- I really dislike the stock wheels, so want to have those taken off at the dealership shortly after I take delivery. Also, I think I have great patience but this wait is killing me haha. Want to get this stuff out the way while I can. This is my first car purchase.

madsedan- Yeah, I am sticking with 19s.

Paul with Need4Speed reached out to me as well via PM. I see his name throughout the forums so I know I am getting some good help here.

Bravado Tribute
19x9.5 +34mm offset. $220 - looks light, but fairly heavy starting at 32ish pounds
Also can get a 19x10.5 +45mm offset $235... for a square setup fitting some big meats, front strut tower clearance depending on tire width may need a 5mm spacer though.

they come in silver too...
