Hi All

I need some advice and maybe you can help since you probably know more about Mustangs than I do.

I have a 2015 6 (3.55, Auto) that I love and recently it has been upgraded with OEM leather and it looks even better.

I have the possibility to trade my car for a loaded 2013 GT premium convertible with Brembos, navigation, 14.5k miles ... plus some cash (not too much) and in overall is a good deal.

Should I?
The problem is that I see it parked everyday on my way home... Hopefully they can sell it soon...

Especially considering that:

+ I'm the only owner of my V6
+ 2015 looks much more advanced in many senses (i.e. rear suspension, keyless, etc...)

Any Thoughts??

Depends on what your #1 priority is.

Do you wanna go fast? get the GT
Do you wanna be loud? get the GT
Do you wanna be tough? get the GT
Do you wanna be mean? get the GT

Do you want comfort? keep the S550
Do you want cornering? keep the S550
Do you want gas mileage? keep the V6

I wouldn't do it. You'd regret it after a couple days and whoever has your car would be smiling. Keep it and trade up to a V8 after a refresh would be my opinion. Yes it's a V6 but it's still an S550

I think you would be very disappointed in the handling/driving after owning the S550.

there is a reason they are offering a loaded GT + cash for a v6.

keep the s550. you will regret it pretty fast after the "look how loud i am now" and " i can go fast in a straight line" fun factors wear off.

Get the 2013,in a heartbeat,it is a GT and it looks like a Mustang,it is also lighter and faster than the S550,and the comment about the truck are just BS.

I would settle down with the v6, you got brand new versus someone else's beater.

Think you are confirming what I had in mind. Thanks a lot.

Don't do it. The new model is miles ahead of any other model. Part of the reason you got the car was because it was NEW right? Also the "gotta be a v8" people don't know jack about cars or progression in technology. The same people will have a v8 manual in 2050 when twin turbo v6s are dominant

Keep the 6! Maybe supercharge it down the road. :)

Going from a new body style to the older one? I could never do that

Keep what you have. Not because you don't want to be tough or mean. A V6 doesn't make you a "Kitty Kat". Do it because the S550 is that good of a car!

Yeah no way you should trade it in unless you want to just race the car. Exterior alone is worth keeping your car
