I think many of us agree that the darker colours, especially the black hide the lines if the 2015+ Mustang. And I think we'd mostly agree the Silver shows then off the best, but many of us are tired of Silver and grey cars. So why not bring a classic sixties shade back? Silver blue is classy, works with Black and Tan interiors and would really help the lines pop. Plus it's long overdue for a comeback

I wish CO was a metallic and more of a fiery orange.

Agree that would look nice on the S550. Some of the first pics of Ingot had a slight blue hue to it which looks nicer (or at least more interesting) than regular silver IMO.

I don't know what it is about that second ingot photo but the car just looks so freaking amazing in that shot. It's one of the first photos I remember seeing of the car that immediately got me excited about it.

Regarding the thread topic, I agree, silver blue would be epic on the S550!

I wanted grabber blue badly...but I think it'll look too weak on this car. I now want to see something like Windveil Blue, it'd be 100% perfect.

I Agree. Windveil would be a Great Color for the S-550. I know My Mom would Agree. :D

Another similar color was offered on the mid-90s Thunderbird called Silver Blue Mist, as I recall. I can't find a real good photo, but it was hue-shifting color (which Ford did a bit of in '95 & '96). It ranged from silver to blue, with a little purple under the right light. It would also look great on these cars.

Yeah, the car is too sleek for bold/solid colors...they worked so well on the S197 due to the blockier, retro look. Metallics of any sort or just darker colors in general
definitely work better on the lines of the S550, Windveil Blue or anything similar would look absolutely amazing. It's sort of like how everybody loves the car in silver, except that you'd be getting that same sort of effect on the car's lines in blue. A Steel Blue shade was 100% meant for this car.
