Thanks TireRack!

Wheels are Verde Saga 18x8! Tires are Michelin X-Ice Xi3 245/50/R18!

Took em around the block and through the snow filled alley and they're amazing.

Grip is awesome in the snow, it defies logic, especially since I've had a taste of the P Zero's on my 20" factory wheels.

Also, I ordered them mounted and balanced and went to pick them up at TireRack's HQ in South Bend Indiana thinking I would get the sensors at a dealer as I was led to believe that they could get them by tomorrow.

That was total BS however and I decided to mount them on the car today without the sensors and just add those later when they became available.

Here's the weird part; the car shows correct pressures for each wheel, AS IF THE SENSORS WERE IN. I don't understand how this could be. I let some air out of a tire and the car updated to the new pressure.

The only thing I can think of is that they used their own TPMS sensors when mounting and balancing the tires to the wheels and forgot to take them out.

I don't know!

Anyway, here are the pics.

If Tire Rack Mounts and Balances them I would think they automatically would install the sensors no? I would suggest getting center caps on ASAP because the salt will destroy the axle and nut. It can wipe out the wheel bearing, don't ask me how I know :)

Car looks sharp and snow tires make driving fun.

Looks good brotha !
Thanks Paul, sucks we couldn't get it done man but you're right, it's hard to beat the Tire Rack. Everything ended up being $1,377.

That's a really nice winter setup
Thanks, I'm very happy with how everything turned out. Just put 30 miles on them while the snow was coming down HARD. In 8 days of ownership I finally feel like I actually have a car again.

Thank you! The tires are mind-blowing, I'm floored by how much grip there is.

About the sensors, after 15 or so miles tonight the TPMS warning came on and the pressures are showing zero. It seemed to be a coincidence after mounting them to the car that when I let some air out, the tire pressure went down. LOL

Tire Rack will mount and balance the tires to the wheels but will not install them on the car unless they have sensors. So, if you order a set from them and choose to pick them up at their HQ, they'll only mount them on the car if they have sensors installed. Otherwise, they're going in the trunk like mine, that's the law!

So, sensors will go on as soon as I can get my hands on some.

Also, center caps were put on right after those pics were taken.

Cheers!
