So, My friend helped me out by installing all my exhaust stuff back on (Yes, Including headers) and he left the mufflers a bit sideways, thought it was strange, But I didn't think much of it.

This was about a month ago.

Today while driving I kept hearing scraping sounds, We drove to many places from 4PM to about 7PM when I ended up hearing a bang followed by scraping at a busy street with no where to go, It was 3 lanes so I just stopped and put my emergency blinkers on.

I looked under my car and the drivers side mufflers was hanging from the x-pipe!!

Luckily I had my tools with me, But I had to do it with the risk of getting rear ended/ dragged under another car... I had my girl and her sister with me, So I'd go under my car every red light and as they told me traffic was coming, I'd hop out of there real quick and wait until the red light again.. took me about 10-15 minutes to remove the bolt due to the small amount of time I had in between each time I went under.

I put my muffler in my trunk and drove to my girls house with the loud ass car, 1 muffler on only LOL...

I removed the 2nd one at her house because it looked like it was falling too, So I drove home with no mufflers, just an x-pipe hanging a bit lower than usual.

Waiting on my Corsa Sports to get here, So I can install them at a shop a long with my long tube headers too again >_<!!!!

I'm getting the axle-back and the x-pipe welded.

Just wanted to share this with you guys, Hell of a night.

Naw lol I just learned that I'll just go to shops for stuff like that.

The 1st time around, 1 of the mid pipe bolts fell off... lol.

Should've took that as a "steer clear!" XD.

Just dont let your boy touch your car, exhaust is such an easy install. six bolts total for stock. Corsa's is plus 6 hangers and re use of factory clamps unless youre doing full 3"

headers time consumming but doable in the garage. You could save big money doing it yourself.

"he left the mufflers a bit sideways, thought it was strange" - This is what we call a clue. If something appears out of place always investigate. This rule has saved my ass several times. Glad you are ok.

I have done this all by myself, in my garage, on jackstands, with all hand tools... I'll pay someone else to do it next time. I think it took me 14 hours total.
