Yup AND my EB is drinking the good ol California piss water aka 91 octane..... I feel like the only way for u to get a decent pass without worrying about the heat soak is make a pass once every 2 hours. But where the fuck is the fun in that lol. 9.0 is about a 14.0 in the 1/4 but really wanted to pull a 8.9. Oh well I hit my 60ft goal on street tires

My car is a manual so a DRIVER Mod is def. needed!! I haven't launched a car in 10+ years so my numbers will suck regardless.

Slow89, do you have a tune on your car? 14.0 est is usually the quarter mile for a stock Ecoboost. I'm guessing you have a 6MT too as well..

Quick and cheap trick is find a Kirkey seat that fits or even a cobreau forza seat (16 pounds) and pull both seats and put in one seat. Easy 100 pounds off your total weight and only takes your time. I have two cars that I'm racing now so definitely going to do this instead of buying seats for both cars. Just keep the seat stored and swap out to which ever car I'm racing that day

It takes about 10 minutes for me to pull all but the driver's seat (powah tools!). I'm looking at using Corbeau CR1's for fronts, I will still maintain about an 80lb savings with my rear seat delete.

Garden sprayer packed with ice and water is your friend. Keep the oil hot and the IC ice cold.

9.0 is probably closer to a 13.9 than a 14.0, but it's splitting hairs. You're not in bad shape for bone stock.

Yea ended up being a pretty good night. I was shooting for 8.9. Should have put the stock 18s and pulled the seat lol

I thought about using a home brew co2 sprayer in the pits. I could never justify blowing off nitrous when co2 is cheap.

I'm sticking with ice water mister nowadays, very consistent results actually.
