These are splashguards......much more subtle than mudflaps but keep the worst away from the paintwork :)

and here was me going off American muscle's description:
Style and Protection. Now you can add extra style and protection to your S550 Mustang at the same with a set of Splash Guards. Splash Guards a.k.a. Mud Flaps

These are the ones I ordered. Not fitted them yet but others have and I believe they're ok. I may only fit the fronts.
Some folks on the US forums report that with larger spacers all manner of stuff gets thrown up from the road onto the paintwork due to the wider rear of the car.

Had my Borla S-type exhaust, 25mm spacers and Steed progressive lowering springs fitted yesterday by Modurmustang.

Really happy with the results, first impressions on the springs, great drop, a lot of Wallowy feel has been removed and I can feel the road surface more in the seat of my pants.

I was worried about 25mm spacers on the rear but they look fine to me and no rubbing yet despite the drop..

What can I say about the Borla Cat Back, wow, what difference, it sounds like an animal, this is a must have mod for the Mustang, it really transforms the sound...

How did you get on with informing the insurance on your spacers?

Heard a couple of them are not playing ball and saying they can't insure with them? (I'm hoping someone will call BS on this?)

Looks awesome.

Do the springs feel more comfortable over our bumpy lumpy roads until you get on it?

Insurance (LV) were fine, ÂŁ38.62 increase in premium for 11 months. for all 3 mods, they class the spacers as a wheel tyre change. Well chuffed....:D

They are a bit firmer so not any less comfortable, but it's a transformation... I can press on a lot more...
