Yes mate. I wanna know if its any good?

I did too, I ended up buying a touch up pen and spending 6 hours bringing the paint back level. Graham couldn't spot it until I pointed it out, so i'll say that was a success from me. Think DR CC would be 1000x quicker . Although, don't trust the practicality uses of it until I've heard 'Live' reviews from people on it.

Not used it yet mate, coz dealer touched mine up.
You and Stark are more then welcome to try it though.

This when I got a chip I just rocked up at dealer and they kindly mixed me some paint, touched it up for me and then gave me the paint they mixed up for any future top ups. Took them a couple of minutes and free of charge. :)

Just visit your dealership if they have an approved bodyshop attached to their workshop. :)

Hardly, they mixed it there and then and put it in a container for me. Perfect match anyway. :)

Ford approved bodyshop will carry everything needed to get perfect match, beats paying and having to do it yourself. :)

Kuga comes in Magnetic...surely Kuga Magnetic is the same as Mustang Magnetic?
I'm interested as I have a local Ford dealer/bodyshop who sells Kuga's by the shedload and my dealer is 80 miles away...

No idea buddy, it did not come off a shelf, they mixed the paint on site and then put about 50ml into a container for me. So I guess magnetic must be a combination of a couple of colours or something.

Ford should know so ask them and I am sure they will sort you out FOC and even do the touch up for you FOC, the guy literally mixed the paint which took him a couple of minutes and he came out to my car and did the touch up in what must of being 10s.

When it comes to paint, I am hopeless, give me an engine to put back together and I will have a go, but paint or bodywork I stay well away from, car would look like a spider ran over it with paint covered legs. :D

They'll mix a bunch of primary number coded colours together, that's how paint is mixed. They'll have a guide that basically says:
For magnetic mix x amount of x colour with y amount of y colour, then add x colour for x amount etc etc etc.

Fine detail brush, put paint onto a tile of a plastic surface so the residue doesn't get absorbed, and bobs ur uncle paint away.

As for Kuga Magnetic and Mustang Magnetic being the same, I do not know. But almost all bodyshops should have paint mixing on site, so you should be able to get touch up there, otherwise call your dealer ask them to order you a touch up pen and send It to your door, they're like ÂŁ10 or so and came with a clear coat for the top glossiness :)

Dr colour chip is different, by the looks of it, it's a more waxy paint therefore allowing you to rub off excess and use their 'special chemical' (I guess it reacts with the waxy-feeling substance in the paint) to lift of the excess parts, basically a levelling chemical. if Dr.CC works how they say it does, it's got the nut's on most other methods of fixing paint chips :)

Sent my steering wheel to royal steering wheels. On the 28th April, I emailed them, and says he off sick, have emailed 3 times, without reply.

Took my front lights to have them opened, Ok I told the guy " I'm in no hurry". But that was on the 25 April.
Was supposed to be opening them on the 9th, and heard nothing,

Don't know why I bother sometimes

I never tried 23mm on the rear, but on the front 23mm fits fine with no need to cut the studs. :)

I threw 15mm on the rear and fitted the included longer studs as slip on style spacer, lighter and safer.
I tried the 23 on the rear, they don't fit.

i took car into dealers today, got wind noise and a couple of spots of water has came in, from the O/S mirror area.

they ordered the 2 parts in February, ive phoned 3 times altogether, i get told they arrive a month ago.

gets a phone call couple of hours later, saying
" your car is ready"
go picks it up, they fitted one part, on the other part there was a rubber seal not included, so now got to wait for one to be ordered.
not a happy bunny
