air intake, am missing two parts, 85mm insert and rubber grommet, not happy
i can see how we can remove sound tube either, will be easier for u LHD guys

I'm not going to say that you should have bought your parts from a UK supplier. (You should have though.... ;-)

The 85mm insert has always been preassembled into the MAF housing on the ones we've had - though I did hear from another person who bought one that didn't have it fitted.

The (really much too) long stud that holds the sound tube on at the bulkhead end is a swine to get to but persistence eventually pays off. The grommet is nothing special and you should be able to find a similar one readily enough.

Mine def not got insert.
I know Dave. But I've had it for ages. And got it shipped over with loads of stuff so postage was cheap. And hardly any Robin Hood fees :)

Yea mate, would be easier on a ramp, or jacked up, coz not a lot of room underneath to crawl under.

And not many places to cable tie wires to

Looking good, fitted my BLACK ones as well, just waiting for the rain to die down so I can tidy up the cables - where did you tie yours up to?

I think the units themselves are really smooth, but the 'wiring harness' isn't the greatest - i.e. the wire taps.
