Well I talked to the wife and we are 90% sure we are going to add this little gem to our driveway next year and have it be my DD to work and leave the Mustang LE for my days off...here it is the 100% US made Elio...

I think it's pretty badass.

2 passenger
3 wheels
0-60 in around 9secs
84 MPG!
Weighs 1200 pounds
Only......$6800 that's crazy awesome

It's considered a motorcycle but here's the link you guys can read up on it.

What do you guys think?

Ha I can't tell if you're serious, but there's no way I'd be able to drive that with a LE or any '15 in the garage...

I've never even seen/heard of one of these lol, if you like it who cares what I think. But I would point and laugh at one of these.

I just work in a government building where a woman dragged her purse across the trunk of my Challenger....I'd prefer that not to happen to my LE

Makes perfect sense to me, I've had to yell at a group of smokers before standing next to my car in our parking garage because their normal spot was getting wet from the rain....and pointed out ash all over my car to them so I get it believe me :D

I think you'll get just as much (if not more) attention in that little thing than your LE would get..

That looks like a death trap to be honest.
Agreed. just like the Smart cars. An encounter with anything larger than a Civic wouldn't end well.

They say it has an "anticipated" 5 star crash test rating. Right...

Absolutely not. To each his own though and if you live close to work and don't have to take it more than a couple miles and never on roads faster than 40....power to you.

If I went for a small vehicle, I'd go with a can am spyder, though those are also considerably more expensive.

I like this more than the Spyder because it is contained. This has heat, AC and it would keep me dry with no special gear. From what I can tell, it is registered as a motorcycle. If that means I could drive it in the HOV lane, this would be a very desirable vehicle. I'm defiantly going to keep my eye on developments.

Kinda reminds me of the Corbin Sparrow/Merlin models - hopefully, this doesn't follow the same trajectory...
