For no other reason than I just noticed while washing the car. The front wheels have the valve stem in between the short spokes and the rears have it between the long spokes. Another bit of useless Mustang trivia but there you go

Oh and yes I am aware they are different size wheels :D

I've seen wheels (where the front and back are the same size) have the valve stems located in different areas - admittedly, they were cheap aftermarket rims.

Anyone know who supplies the wheels for our Mustangs or are they simply made by Ford?

I know with some Jap cars I've owned in the past, the standard wheels have been made by third party manufacturers and not by the vehicle maker.

Seen anything from Enkei to Rays Engineering to BBS (WRX, 370Z, Evo)

I noticed the Mustang wheels are a little roughly finished on the back of the spokes compared to the 18's on my Skoda Octavia RS wagon. Not a problem aesthetically but the cleaning cloth does catch and pull threads on them. The Skoda wheels are machined and cleanly finished.

Also other Aussie Frods I have had the wheels were finished better. Also just an observation and not a complaint as I love the car.

Now that is an eye for detail. Just pointed it out to the wife but she didn't seem impressed. Probably doesn't appreciate the finer points of Mustang ownership.
