Mustang the new Batmobile on Gotham

I just noticed when watching last week’s episode of ‘Gotham’ (FOX tv series), Alfred gave Bruce Wayne (young future Batman) a car as a birthday present - a matte black S550 Mustang GT (bullet proof, of course).

I guess that sort of makes the Mustang the quasi-batmobile (for the moment).

It was funny I paused it and it happened to be when you could see a key in the box. I thought to myself, that looks like a mustang key. Then all the sudden you see the 5.0. I mean it's no batmobile but its a nice start.

LOL, Patio208, I'm a big fan of Batman and I'm on the wrong side of 60! I grew up watching the original Batman TV series in the 1960's with Adam West and Burt Ward, am still a fan of all the movies and TV series since then.

I always say how the new Camaro looks like Batman designed it so honestly I'm surprised.

Reminds me of when I first drove the all black s550 to work about 3 years ago. The younger coworkers (I'm 51) thought the gt was Batman worthy and i should apply Batman badging and decals. Heck, the car reminded me of Toothless the dragon..the front end that is. ..lol..man is that '18 growing on me.

Yea I love Batman, and Gotham is very good, the actors who play the characters are so good. Told my mate that when we go to the work conferences he can be Robin, was well cool seeing the Stang

Last night's episode of Gotham had more screen time for the bat-Mustang, including several driving scenes. One particularly funny one was when Selena chided Bruce for his car not having a 'stealth' mode, and it showed him selecting the 'quiet' mode from the adjustable exhaust - a clear pitch for the new Mustang.

Ford must have paid good money for this product placement.
