Mustang sync 3 not turning off

I’ve had this problem ever since a bought the car a few weeks ago. It’s a 2016 GT premium and whenever I shut the car off and open the door the screen goes into its night mode, if during the day, but never turns off. The only way to get it to shut off is disconnecting the battery terminal and connecting it again. I had it reset by a electrician and it worked for a couple days but started doing it agin when the battery died. Anyone else have the same problem??

Sounds like one of two things; either a faulty sync 3 module or related wiring harness (most likely). Or bubba has done some wiring, and now the module is hard wired into the battery.

You would want to test the terminals of the wiring harness to make sure all wires that are supposed to be hot are hot, and all wires that are supposed to be switched based on ignition are working properly.
