I found a place in North Dakota that will install the headers for $800. Doesn’t seem
Too bad. It is a lot of messing around and I want a shop who has done them to do the install. I found a lock guy who would do them for $650 but he had never done them etc.. I’d rather pay a little more
To know the place has done it multiple times. They quoted $600 to install a eibach lowering kit plus alignment. I’ll let you know how they are to deal with this spring if you want? Send me a PM if you want me to let you know their info and update you after they do the install for me.

North Dakota is too far for me to be dropping my car off. I'm going to get quotes from Superior Ford and North Country Ford. I'll spend $1000 with the alignment. If i can't find that price ill do it myself.

Oh okay. It’s in Fargo ND so right on border. Like 3ish hours away. Good luck, hopefully you find a place for cheaper then 1000. That seems really expensive..

Superior Ford doesn't install ford parts. ?. But it looks like 1500 with the alignment everyplace else I talked to. When did the hourly rate of automechanics double? Is this due to covid or inflation? I thought most shops charged $80 to $100 an hour. I usually drive newer vehicles that don't need work so it's been a while since I had anything done. Is $150 to $200/hr normal these days? Perhaps the info I have read for 8 hours to install the handling pack is incorrect.

Shops have always been 100-150 for a high class shop. Maybe some small ones were 75-100.
