Im paying about $36k for my GT when it comes. I expect that thing to be almost perfect. I could careless about the motor when there is other squeaks and rattles present.
I don't agree with this statement at all. In fact, I downright laughed at this statement. For 36K, you're still getting a helluva bargain. You have a 435 hp car that handles as well as cars that are twice as expensive in it's class, with a nice interior and exterior.
That's the one thing that's bugged me about this new wave of Mustang owners. They come from cars that are twice the value and expect it to be as well made and planted as something that's 60K. I say for the money, Ford did a helluva job.
And I agree with the OP, when you go to some of these auto shows and sit in these luxury cars, most of them have the same hard, cheap plastics in their interiors too. The new BMW 4 series I sat in had plastic everywhere and yet it's praised?
