they forget that the Brembos require a new set of wheels and tires, which are 2.5k
There's no need to spend so much on wheels. EB/PP or GT/PP wheels are $700 in good condition, less if marred. LMR sells wheel sets for $1000 and if you wait for a sale, $600. You can get practically new wheels sets for ~800 on ebay and sometimes MUCH less (like 1/3).
