Just to ease the pain of the extended wait I have ordered a new Ducati today which should be here in March in time for my Birthday.
Would have been a real treat to have the Mustang as well....

I ordered mine on the 6th of this month and was told by the dealer it will probably not arrive until december so thats potentially a 10 month wait for me so will be interesting to see what happens.

They will stop building MY16 cars in June (?) so it should be here way before December. Think yours will be built around may time and then 12 weeks delivery ish after that.

Thanks and no to be honest i'm not in a rush for it and i was prepared for a fairly long wait anyway, after they discontinued comp orange and DIB i am kind of waiting to see if i can change to grabber blue if this does become available at a point when i can still change the order i have currently ordered ruby red as that was the only other colour that i really liked.

That's fair enough. I wasn't ready for mine when I ordered either though I'm way beyond ready now ;)
I think I remember reading that the new colours can be ordered from April, I think that's when the MY17 order book opens in the US or something, so you should be able to change then.

Thats good to know as i can speak to my dealer about it. It also lets me save more for the deposit to which is always good i know i will be ready for it a soon as the better weather comes round

Shame you had to sell the bike, but needs must. I sold a bike 8 years go to raise some money for my business start up. Here I am now waiting for a Mustang, who'd of thought it

Hi, cancelled mustangs are not usually advertised back to Ford. If you could let me know the spec though I can search for any sold orders for you.

You should ring round the dealers and see what they have coming into stock, as they will not cancel the order, they will just let it come into stock.

Think you need to read the post above mine the dealer will never tell Ford what's been cancelled as they will just sell them to someone else
