So after owning my car for a few months (16' gt pp) I'm getting tired of the 4" screen. I'm thinking about taking on the project of trying to 3d print a "dash kit" so I can run an aftermarket head unit but keep the stock ac controls. I know there are options out there (like the Metra kit) however, I don't like the idea of having a cheap LCD display for the ac controls, and it's also somewhere north of $400 for a piece of plastic. If anyone has attempted this before or has any tips/useful info feel free to let me know. Also, I do not plan on selling these/using this post as marketing.
