Hello, I’m looking for muffler recommendations to make my car sound good. I’m currently running Speed Engineering catless 1 7/8 long-tube headers, an X-pipe, and the stock resonator. Which mufflers would give me a nice tone without being too obnoxious or raspy?

Do you have active or non active mufflers?

Well I went with Nxtstep from American Muscle and love them. The tone always stays low no matter the rpm, no rasp, and are cheap price wise. I also have a stock resignator. Anyway, they are made of stainless steel. Try doing some youtube searches for some sound bits.

I recommend the AWE Touring axle back. A friend of mine had the cat back on his car, which sounded good. Then he added headers. It became a lot louder with the headers but still had a nice tone. And he said there's no drone.

Only difference between his setup and yours if you get the mufflers is he had an H pipe and no resonator.

I have the same exact headers and xpipe and I went with borla s type axle backs. It sounds great with no drone at all and gets rid of the raspy sound. They are pricey but love how they sound

I have the same catless headers. Just go back to stock exhaust. I hated the sound of my car after the catless headers, it was just so obnoxiously loud.

Custom option: Y pipe, one into a Vibrant Ultra quiet resonator, the other straight through.
