I've always had a muffler delete on my cars and kept the resonators and cats. On my old 5.0 Mark VII and my 2013 wrx. Both sounded great and I was surprised by lack of drone. To answer your question about not having enough back pressure, as I understand it with these newer cars it isn't a big deal if you just remove mufflers. For what it's worth, I have Roush on my car now. Only because it was a used setup near by and my favorite axleback. I was planning on doing a delete.
