I am about to put an Exedy Mach 500 clutch in my 2016 GT. I ordered a new TOB and pressure plate to go with it. I also asked for the pilot bushing upgrade, and was glad to see this was an option.

I had a Powerstroke F350 with a ZF6 6-speed and the OEM pilot bearing came apart and destroyed the input shaft. When I fixed it, I ran a Teflon bushing and never had any issues. Lots of guys were doing that on those trucks.

I haven’t really seen anyone talk about it with the mt82. What does everyone do for pilot bearings/bushings? Any reason I shouldn’t run the bronze bushing? I believe the Exedy clutch kit includes a new bearing so I'll have a few options to choose from

Thanks
