Hey guys new to the forum and looking into the EB mustang. My question is, how are the mod's affecting your gas mileage? I know when you modify just expect stuff like that to go out the window, so really just a question out of curiosity. Thanks

All depends on how you drive. It can easily go up or down depending on your right foot.

I guess I should have been a bit more specific. Let's say out on the highway only and not doing any fun runs? just normal driving. They claim 31 but has anyone bested that with mods or without for that matter? I know when I modes my speed3 I picked up maybe a little on the highway.

With a downpipe, cold air intake, and 91 tune by bama, I can hit 32-35 higheay doing 60-65mph. I drive aggressively and generally avg 23-26mpg. City driving is what kills my mpg(17-19), every time I am at a light the mpg will drop .1 every few seconds, faster or slower depending on obviously how long I have been driving the car on that fuel trip.

Yes, overall it did, 3-4. I do believe a few of the tuners are willing to make customers a mpg inspired tune(I don't have a clue on what they could reach). Also water/meth kit will give you another 2 mpg.

I have CAI and exhaust I made an 18 mile highway trip last week with cruise control on 70mph and got 38mpg for the trip so it can easily be bested

It all depends on my right foot. I still get good mileage. But i love the way this car sounds now so its hard not to be in it all the time. Lol

lower the car, open up the intake and exhaust, lighten the car. Best MPGs and performance...

Well I want to leave everything in the car. I'm not looking for a monster street car. I just want some performance with the added bonus of highway mpg's. Either way the car is a outstanding and I'll probably pull the trigger on one. Again just kinda wanted to get a feel for what the mods are doing to the fuel economy. Thanks for all the information guys.

I didn't say strip it and make it a race car. Go with lighter rotors when/if you upgrade or replace, always check the wheels you want to upgrade to, to see if they are lightweight, etc. That's always my plan.

Lightening won't help mpgs at steady state. Just fyi...

Stay away from really wide wheels/tires if you're concerned about mileage.

Agree on lowering.

I've said it before...waiting to see a bellypan/true diffuser from someone...
