You guys really should consider our custom tuning! IF, and I do stress IF you can keep your feet off of that skinny pedal your efficiency will jump. Most of our clients, even the ones that drive on the more "spirited" side like us lol report gains of around 2MPG! That is a big boost when you're only getting 9 and 14 respectively.

I recently moved here from Louisiana (driving my 5.0 all the way lol)

When I was in city traffic (In Louisiana) I got between 12~13 mpg. But it was spirited driving here n there. (all downtown/stop go on entire tank)

If I tried really hard. aka not going over 2k rpm. skipping 3rd gear. I got up to 16 or 17 mpg. But, it wasn't fun at all.

Oh also, its a noticeable difference if u have the performance package with the 3.77 rear vs the standard one.

If you think bout it, the pedal on the floor is like a MPG controller. further u press it down, the shittier ur MPG will be. pure and simple.

Some more info on MPGs, I drove 2600 miles to Sacramento. I got average of 27.5~29 MPG at an average of 65mph.

Before I left I did some testing over several drives from Memphis TN to New Orleans LA. Here is what I found out,

My car: 2015 Mustang GT, Performance Package (manual), all stock, 100% cruise control, averaged over 300 miles or so, all flat interstate.

@80 MPH Averaged 20~21 MPG
@75 MPH averaged 22~23 MPG
@70 MPH averaged 24~25 mpg
@65 MPH averaged 27~28 mpg
@60 MPH averaged in 28.5~29 mpg
@55 MPH averaged almost 30 mpg+ I think maybe 31.

Naturally, wind resistance is the key factor, as drag on a car is a cubic function of velocity. So naturally, ur mpg gets way worse as ur speeding.

I have gotten 26 MPG on the highway on multiple long trips. This reading is from calculating it not from the vehicle itself and around the city I am averaging 18
same here

I have a shade over 20,000 miles on GT-5.0 w/ six speed and 3:55 gears and average a flat 21.0 miles per gallon, granted 70% of time I am driving from Raleigh to Fayetteville but I am not easy on the car.

I can get 29MPG @ 69MPH - 6th Gear.

But I get an average of 13-14MPG regularly.
