Motor week new test track

It looks like motor week got a new test track. They are now using a proper drag strip (mason-Dixon dragway) instead of the gravel filled track they use to use. There are pros and cons to that. For us car enthusiasts we will get a better idea on what cars will run on the track but less of a idea what they will do on the street. So their test times will be better than the othe magazines/tv shows.

Even though the ol' 75-80 Dragway was looking quite dilapidated, it did give us a more real-world view of a given car's performance on the street.

The new track will look better on screen and should improve MW's test numbers, but I'm gonna miss seeing the old track in the background.

No matter: As long as we still have John Davis, I don't care where and what they test. IMO the man is a legend and his voice is iconic.
