I read somewhere on Facebook that they're going to offer a warranty friendly tune. I looked on their website and all I see is Focus stuff. Anything know about them?

What? A warranty friendly tune? Ford Performance is working on one that is due at the end of this year. Also, it looks like (based on what I read on Facebook, which I know isn't always the best source of information) Montane tunes for other vehicles have been approved by Ford. Some of their aftermarket parts even have Ford part numbers... again according to Facebook I've seen their show cars, so it makes sense that they'd be developing some EBM parts.

At this point who knows.. early on they were stating Q1 1015 release of EBM performance parts but here we are at Q3 2015 and still nothing. :shrug:

They have been known for their warranty friendly packages in the past but I don't think they have anything for the Mustang as of yet.

Even the ford tune isnt ford approved. It gets a new warranty under ford racing performance parts.

This^ I had the Ford Racing tune and Mountune intercooler installed at the dealer on my focus st. The Ford Racing warranty replaces the Ford Powertrain 5-60 with a 3-36. From the date you bought the car.

Mountune makes some fine stuff, pricey, but fine. Maybe they'll get into the mustang market now that it's a world car.

Big ol' Cookeville! Yes there is lots of confusion on the FR warranty. I believe it also states that there is an $8000? dollar limit on a warranty payout. By the way, that's one nice build you've got going!

I have been buying from Randy at Mountune for 15 years. I asked him about hard parts for the EBM and he doesn't know. They tune through the AP but their Warranty friendly Ford offering isn't available yet.

No idea when either.
