Month of May Delivery ...Owners

[1st time Mustang]

Has the quality control issues.. of late model year cars being
produce seem to be better then early model cars produced.If
any body received their delivery in the month of May,i'm curious
if there were any issues that disturbed you before signing the
ownership papers...Thank you.

P.S..I'm awaiting for delivery late June and wondering what
I have in store for me.

My car is perfect except I think the hood latch is slightly low, easy fix. Everything else is perfect.

Mine did come with a scratch on the fender that I compounded out but that's not really a defect. Other than that, mine was perfect.

mine had a minor issue with the rear bumper cover alignment on the drivers side. Pictures were sent to ford and approved to be fixed but i don't think i will bother in fear the dealership will make it worse.

Everything looks good on mine. Even the back window. Mine was built May 1st, a day early.

Mine was delivered on May 22nd, I hope it's perfect when I pick it up.

As mine was built in early april and panel fitment was the first thing i looked for after they dropped er off..I was impressed, only found a slight uneven joint where the front bumper met the front fender on the drivers side. But black seems to hide it well though, later i will probably look into how i can smooth it out and tighten something up

You can probably fix that one yourself. Just need to loosen the attachment points along that side, line it back up, then re-tighten.

this thread jinxed me, I noticed the hood spacing today.

I just picked mine up last saturday... Blend was 5/4 (actually built 5/1). Most panels were ok, gap between fender and hood on passenger side is greater than the one on drivers side. Back window is low on the drivers side... it's noticible. I took it in today, they took photos we'll see if ford steps it up and gets that back window fixed.

I just looked at mine too and it's off... not as much as yours but I can tell it's off :frusty:

Maybe I just need to stop looking for issues and accept that it's American Engineering

Blend 4/27, delivery 5/15. Only issue I've noticed is the back window is slightly lower on one side than on the other. Not very noticeable unless you are looking for it. Also missed the recall thankfully.

I might have a slow leak on one wheel, not sure yet. Sure hope not since I have a ~450 mile drive ahead of me on Wednesday.

It all seems good

Took delivery of my special ordered vert on 5/30. All seems good. panel and trim fit is good, everything works well and the car drives and operates smoothly.
