Quite a few people seem to set the number plate up on the dash.

I have never modded a car & have never had the urge but I feel that may change with the Mustang...although I only have an Ecoboost, as far as appearances go, the shelby front end looks fu*king amazing I think, with gloss black stripes  a Shelby tribute Ecoboost may seem a bit daft to some but it would probably be a rare one! Seriously considering this for a future mod. Would go nicely with an exhaust upgrade a few extra ponies under the bonnet :)
Kristian, I have an Ecoboost on order and that's not stopping me from modding up!

So far I have lined up: gloss black paint on Custom Pack wheels, custom axle-back exhaust (for deeper/louder tone) and the GT350-style over-the-top stripes in black with white pinstripe (as per this photo). All coming in at <ÂŁ1k, which is nice for a start...

Nice! A bargain too...all from the states I take it? Looking forward to seeing some photos/videos of that!

Yes I'm pleased with the prices - I've been quoted well over double that from USA but actually it's all sourced locally here in South Wales.

Custom stuff is much less expensive than the 'official' channels, and I've only selected reputable suppliers with long-term warranties as well as personal and Pistonheads recommendations. Not doing any of the work myself, but I'd save even more if I did!

And yes, there will be photos. And videos. And me harping on endlessly about it here on this forum...

These guys will be worth keeping an eye on. Some proper know how. They have ordered a RHD car to fit some demo mods e.g. Whipple supercharger kit along with Magnaflow exhaust and KW suspension.

Exhausts

Really fancy the supercharger, but probably have to upgrade everything else afterwards.

Having this level of expertise only 20 minutes away could turn out expensive ;)
I'd imagine if they pick up a fair bit of business from new Mustang owners they'll import what ever people want. What we really need in the UK is some competition for the custom shops that have had a monopoly on parts for the relatively low numbers of LHD cars that have been around for years.

600+BHP through the rear wheels and I know the first thing i'd have to upgrade...

Yeah I thought that when I replied, bye bye any savings left after the car :ninja:

When I saw it in person at my local dealer it looks like we already get a form of K-Brace. I'm not sure if its also accompanied by the horizontal bar you get on US models or if it was made specifically for export models.

Someone want to shed light on it for me?

I know the non-PP car gets a little plastic brace to support the plastic cover on the right (photo left), but this was solid metal and ran to both sides of the engine bay. You can see the black fittings atop both suspension towers.

Hopefully they can get around the RHD Manifold problem.

My understanding is that we get the bulkhead brace (sometimes called a 'K' brace, although a K brace is really a suspension brace which goes under the car), but not the strut brace so that pedestrians have more room to bounce off the bonnet unscathed. Ford Racing sell them as a pair but not separately although I have seen them on eBay separately, and there are aftermarket strut braces available as well.
