That looks quite good actually, seen the thread but not that video. Not sure about holding that weight with just tape! Be nice to see it with a UK sized plate before I buy though.

Found another photo from a Mustang in Poland, there are "holes" pre drilled. I'm beginning to think we won't be able to avoid it :(

Lets hope not!
Yeah he is going to be doing more testing to see how it holds up in the real world.

They are not holes mate, just guide dipples in the bumper for where you need to dril. Unfortunately all Mustangs come with those dimples when built. That's just a bad reflection of them in the light as well.

Cool, well my plan b is to drill the plate straight onto the bumper so without any plastic holders, doesn't look too bad I think;

I would rather slightly bend the plastic plate and use 3M tape to attach it to the car than do any sort of drilling lol. Ideally I want something that allows me to take off the front plate to have a clean look when parked up at meets etc.

Any other Ecoboost-orderers thinking custom exhaust?

Seems WAY cheaper to get a stainless steel one made than to buy a Magnaflow or whatever.

You can virtually guarantee that there will be a shaped plate holder in the place this plate shows that will keep the plate square on.

Said I wasn't going to buy anything until I got my car,
BUT
Set of red rear lights on way from USA, and a gear knob, couldn't resist.

I know this is not for everyone but thought I would mention...there are a lot of DVLA plates available in the style of **57ANG @ ÂŁ800/ÂŁ900
And no, GT 57ANG is not available to save you looking. I already have a plate with my initials on it which I love but thought this for the Ecoboost would be pretty cool;

As if I've got money to burn, I got a "57 ANG" one myself.

The spacing isn't ideal, but the question is, do you mess with the spacing and risk invalidating your insurance!

Do you know exactly what needs to be done to them?

Does it do that? I've mis-spaced a plate in the past but got fed up changing them for MOTs so don't bother any more.
