So it feels like time to resurrect this thread as I have been thinking a lot about mods recently! Had a nice chat with Mike @ Modurstang yesterday & I will be taking the stang in to be serviced in the coming weeks. Talked briefly about springs and spacers which I am likely to do if the price is right. But also been thinking performance/sound. Knowing that I love the Roush distinctive sound, I have tentatively selected the axle back exhaust as well as the intake as a future mod, they do a "power pack 2" which adds 60bhp and 51 ft-lb tq for around ÂŁ1k. Being the fussy individual that I am, in an ideal world I would like to hear the setup in person before I pull the trigger. Don't suppose any Ecoboosters on here have the Roush do they? Not much on youtube sadly and always better to hear it in person!

About time too Kristian :D

Looking to get my FRPP strut brace finally sprayed (came with some serious scratches ) and fitted, before my euro jaunt. Looking at the 350R steering wheel, putting my Stanginator on a plain deck lid and that'll be it, no tunes (although part of me would like one to get the max from my exhaust), no intakes, no other bodywork.

Very content with power/torque which is enough for my limited talent and precisely what I need from a comfortable GT cruiser.

My stance, handling and sound are exactly what I had in mind from a Mustang, well, my Mustang :amen:

Spring and spacers are an absolute must just for the aesthetics alone, they transform the look. Just go with Modurstang as they have the parts in stock and get them to clock all the bushes when they do the install and set the alignment.

If you fit 25mm spacers all round, you might get some rear poke, some like this and some do not, so something to consider.

Performance wise your wasting your time unless your willing to bin the warranty as a remap makes a transformation in performance on the ecoboost, otherwise your best of with just dropping in a K&N panel filter and fitting an axle back exhaust like the Roush.

Thanks for the advice mate. Yea, I'm not particularly fussed on a tune but it came as part of that package. If it's just as cheap to go with a filter/axle back then I will just throw them on.

Ah so he's made a decision, careful with the Roush Axle-Back on the ecoboost, I distinctly remember reading something bad about it that really put me off plunging for it - as originally it was one of my top picks. And it wasn't the fact I'd have to cut the stock 'zorst. I'll have a dig around! Wasn't anything to do with build quality, Think it was down to the sound once the exhaust had bedded.

Can't wait to see the pics of Springs/Spacers when it's done, they're on my list, with Sequentials, and brake calipers... and... fuck im going to be skint, time to quit the forum lol

Oh My brake caliper decals arrived, they'll be being done soon
