Sorry guys I fat fingered it...my TQ was 380.

I just fear that once I take the car that high I'm opening the door to more problems then I currently need..LOL OPG, clutch, oil cooler, new rad, the list goes on and on!! I don't currently have the budget for that many problems. But at the same time I need alittle more power to be more competitive in TT2 and Optima

Shed some weight, it can be a cheaper mod and every system on the car benefits from a few less LBs.

Reische 170 degree thermostat 60.00, MMR oil pick up for better oil flow 60.00. PP cars come with oil cooler stock.

170 stat is pointless, the pick up good be a good idea, and the oil heater you mean :)

Dave.. other then getting crazy, I'm not sure to find weight. Also my car needs to stay a "street" for the Optima series. Becoming a better driver prolly wouldn't hurt either.. lol

170 Tstat is not pointless. Cylinder head temps and coolant temps are all around lower than stock with it. Engine makes more power this way.
ECU will even compensate for it with out a tune. With a tune it depends on what the tuner did.
They are lower even with base radiator while pushing the car for an extended period of time. Definitely not pointless or for drag racing only.

Try the Reische 170 thermostat and have the fans readjusted for the thermostat, when the water runs cooler so does the oil cooler. I live in a hot climate , 100-120 degree temps is normal where I live. Running the 170 thermostat has lowered my temps 35-40 degrees it's worth it and was a cheap mod. When the car runs cooler you pull more timing/ added performance benefit.
