Looks and sounds great with your exhaust buildup. Do you have stats and/or sound with the stock cat-back?
Since I'm new to modifying, would your new exhaust be CA legal?
Thanks
Thanks for the interest! We will certainly have clips with the stock cat-back in our final, polished video. The dyno plot shown in the last post features our EBM with our downpipe, intake, and a tune. This plot was captured with the stock CBE in place.

More updates on the way!

what about the rest of the exhaust, I dont really think I would upgrade the cat on a stock car and your exhaust isnt finalized to the point of presale yet. Will there be a presale for the full exhaust?

Also did that dyno run include the prototype exhaust or stock?

as always props for posting all of the engineering info, very interesting, lends some credibility, and clearly it helps your sales

Would be interested in a full exhaust.....if I waited for a full exhaust (I want straight pipes....I'm silly) would you still run a presale discount?

Thanks for the input E30! The testing and sound compilations found in this thread do not include our final prototype CBE. Sound will certainly vary based on the exhaust you are using, this video is what you can expect with the stock CBE installed with our downpipe. Hopefully we can get a few additional on-road clips of this downpipe for you guys.

Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for the comment! We will be running a discounted pre-sale for our cat-back exhaust in the future. That product is not quite ready for pre-sale, but will be in the near future. Both pre-sale deals will be running at the same time, so customers can certainly opt to purchase both exhaust components we've developed. With that in mind, we will not be offering a package containing both items, both will need to be added to your cart for purchase.

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks
-John

Can the catted downpipe be used on the street for normal driving as a higher flow replacement for stock... or is it for off-road only (as stated in the tech specs)?

I'm with rgingo here. That warning concerns me... because I'd love to throw an extra 100+ torque on the car but not if there's a reason they said that that I don't know.

The dyno'd numbers you see are with a tune included. Mishimoto has decided to do this on their products that they believe benefit the most when coupled with a tune. I think they discussed a little bit about their reasoning for doing this in their intercooler thread if I'm not mistaken.

Generally, if you choose the "cat-less" option it is commonly known as off-road use only. If you wish to keep the high flow catalytic converter and pay the up-charge you are street legal in majority of states (well at least in TX). Their tech specs are based upon the cat-less option because the high flow cat is optional. Hopefully they modify the tech specs to reduce confusion.

Also, would be nice if they gave dyno numbers either before/after WITH tune or before/after WITHOUT TUNE. Mishimoto it can't take long to switch tune to tune, make it apples to apples please
