but I don't understand what they did with the chassis - presumably in port after landing. Supposedly it is shipped from the US without bottom protection and is sprayed on in Europe. But why did they also spray the whole exhaust and wheels on the inside? I've driven 100km and the paint smells awful...

I'd have to refresh myself on this topic, but I seem to remember at least one Australian owner (and maybe others overseas) encountering this as well. The shippers aren't shy about spraying it on.

As for the wheels.....are you running spacers, or do the SVEs just have the perfect backspacing?

Yes they spray the underneath with a under seal, the exhaust always gets the best coating, they have been doing this for many years

Correct, export Mustangs are sprayed with black under sealant. The way its applied, the coverage is not consistent from car to car, some having excessive overspray.

Thanks Twin. I honestly need the color changes (like the change of seasons ) because I get tired of my cars/colors quickly.

No spacers. I run SVE on all my Mustangs. Can’t beat the look, cost, fitment.

looks like i will passing now on my 22 gt/cs if it every comes in that i ordered in favor of a 24 gt. Ordered in april, was to be built last week finally, another email says we will let you know every 45 days, window sticker is out but 2024 model says available summer 2023, as much as i love the purple that changes, ill just go for redesign with 480 hp. Besides, i can pay on mine for another year at 0% and bring the payoff even lower then.

I hear ya. I was set to hold and order a 23 or 24 but when a dealer reached out to me and said they would honor xplan on this when it arrived I had to take it not knowing if I’d get the chance at a color like this again.
