MGW Hammer Series Shift knob

Anyone have the mgw hammer series shift knob? My old one doesn't fit on my new mgw shifter (it's too deep so doesn't even reach the threads) and it was knurled which made it super grippy, was wondering if the stainless steel hammer series would be too smooth

Nice! Super comfortable and natural for me, way better than the ball style that I’ve used for the past 15+ years.
