Voss Performance in So Cal installed mine for $180.00 (1.5 hr).

Honestly, it's the only shop in the area I trust to do the install; they've done quite a few Bartons and MGWs. I was just trying to balance paying versus doing the shit myself.

Galpin auto sports wanted $800! Yes that's 800. I laughed and ended that call.
Hillbank Motorsports in Irvine quoted me $250 over the phone and then wanted $440 when I showed up for my appointment. They said because they are so hard to install they had to charge more and it would take all day.
I ended up putting my car on 4 jack stands and doing it myself in about 5 hours. They have a great video that goes step by step and it really isn't hard.
I hear they have a new model that doesn't require you to lower part of the tranny.
A friend of mine just gave me a rave review about voss the other day though. They did an outstanding job on his 65 cobra replica.

Hard for Hillbank to install an MGW shifter? They build cars, but find that hard to do:lol:

I really like the guys at Voss, really great guy and has a good family. While I was waiting to get my MGW shifter installed, his whole family came and brought chipotle...they all offered to get anything I wanted from there.

If you have the tools, it really only takes a few hours, and that's taking your time. Took me 4 hours but I was doing crap inbetween and I probably spend about half an hour trying to get my steeda trans bushing out.

did mine on ramp/jack stands in 3.5 hours taking my time to do it right. This was on the previous design too. I did watch MGWs install video several times however
