Need some help here. I have a couple of issues lingering from my recent conversion. I am working on a 2015 Mustang v6 convertible that came factory with a MFT 4" radio. I recently upgraded to the Syc2 8" display. I used a wiring diagram to manually convert all wires and plugs from MFT to Sync2 radio.
Mostly everything seems to work properly except the GPS. The 8' display can not find the GPS and alerts when with car is started. I had a ford friend used the ford tool to scan and see what may be wrong with it. He can detect the GPS and update the software on it but the radio itself can not. He tells me the GPS is on the Controller Area Network (CAN). Anyone seen this before?
Also the emergency flashers are acting weird. I have to double toggle to turn on and double toggle to turn off on the new 4 button bezel the kit came with.
